Women Safety and condition of women in India
Safety of women is a social problem; it needs to be resolved as soon as possible. Half a population of women in the world suffers from physical, mental, and social status. Women are to be in danger at any place from a public bus to a private car or from their school to home, almost every place is unsafe for women, but why? Why women are so unsafe? What can we do to keep our female population safer? Let us talk about our own country. India is ranked 133 out of 167 countries according to women, peace, and security index. The crime rate against women safety is skyrocketing. Women in our country are neither safe at home nor at public places. The maximum rape or harassment cases are by some family members. This is a shame on our culture and people. Of course, not every household is the same, but some are. According to some reports, every 20 minute a girl is raped in our country. Everyday thousands of girls must go through harassment, physical abuse, and mental abuse at workplaces. ...
